Number Plates

Although "number plates" is the most common term used for what we sell but it is not actually the correct definition of our main product. A number plate is actually the piece of Perspex or plastic fitted on the front and rear of your car bearing the registration mark of your vehicle. The current font used for UK number plates is the Charles Wright font, you may see number plates with other fonts but they are not legal for UK road use. Private Number Plates

This is basically our previously issued section when referring to "private number plates" we tend to refer to dateless number plates (search top left). Private and personal but there for all to see! More private number plates advice and information page.

DVLA Number Plates

The DVLA is the organisation of UK Government responsible for maintaining a database of drivers and a database of vehicles in Great Britain; its counterpart in Northern Ireland is the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA). The agency issues driving licences, organises collection of vehicle excise duty (also known as road tax and road fund licence) and sells "cherished marks" (private number plates).   More DVLA advice and information.
