In Midnite Films' Gore Fest
Pomers Signs On For The Role of Lisa
In Kentucky Fried Horror Show

Los Angeles, CA - July 18, 2007 - 18 year -old Scarlett Pomers (REBA, Star Trek: Voyager) is attached to star in the upcoming fright and gore film, Kentucky Fried Horror Show, directed by C.L. Gregory (Blood Lake, Vampire Diaries).

Pomers takes on the intense, emotionally demanding role of Lisa, one of a group of New York college students on a road trip to Florida during Spring Break. The doomed co-eds encounter a startling discovery while driving through rural Kentucky. As the trip becomes darker, the group find themselves exposed to a blood thirsty, religious sect, driven by pure evil.

'When I wrote the script over a year ago I knew I needed someone that could handle the challenging role of Lisa. Seeing Scarlett's past work, confirmed for me that there was no one else I wanted for this role.- - Director & Screenwriter, Christopher L. Gregory.

Shooting is scheduled to begin October 2007 in Kentucky and Tennessee with an expected release date Summer 2008.

Additional confirmed cast members: Brad Douriff (Lord of The Rings, Halloween 2007), Haylie Duff (Napoleon Dynamite), Zoe Hunter (Witchcraft 13) and Jazsmin Lewis (Barbershop 1 & 2).

Pomers' extensive television credits include 5 seasons on the WB network & a 6th season on the CW, playing Reba McEntire's daughter Kyra on the hit sitcom, REBA.

Pomers is also an accomplished singer/songwriter & guitarist. She's currently recording her first solo album with writing partner David Ivy. Several of her original recordings have been placed in television & feature films, including her song SWEET LUNACY, in MTV's 3rd season of Laguna Beach & VALENTINE, in the upcoming soundtrack-driven feature, Love N' Dancing, starring Amy Smart, currently filming on location in New Mexico.
