Miami's DJ Mash-Up Battle of the Sexes has announced its start date as Thursday July 26. 2007 at the new South Beach nightclub Dream. The DJ Battle will run for twelve weeks through October 25th. The Battle Judge is DJ Bill Kelly, Director and founder of WMC, Winter Music Conference®, the annual, international mega music event that takes-over Miami each spring. South Beach News © newspaper and Verite Broadcast™ named media sponsors.

The twelve-week Super DJ Mash-Up will feature six DJ's every Thursday night. Three males and three females. Each Thursday session will result in two winners, one winner from the guys and one winner from the gals, with the two selected winners of the night returning the following Thursday night to defend their title against the next set of contenders.

After twelve weeks the final Female DJ standing will go head-to-head against the final Male DJ standing for the Super DJ Mash-Up Battle Between the Sexes title. That winner will be awarded a top spinning program slot at both the 2008 Winter Music Conference® and the 2008 Ultra Music Festival in Miami Beach. In addition, the winner will be granted the cover of the South Beach News and awarded Best Miami DJ, on-stage, at the 2008 South Beach Nightlife Awards©.
