Ms. Afeni Shakur-Davis and her family extend gratitude for everyone's support concerning fire last night.

Robeson County, NC - Ms. Afeni Shakur-Davis and her family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to everyone for the kindness and well wishes which are pouring in concerning the fire at her guest house last night. At the time of the fire, Ms. Shakur-Davis and her family were safe at the main residence.

"I would sincerely like to thank the professional & volunteer firefighters and our neighbors who quickly came to our rescue and helped extinguish the fire. We are truly blessed to have their vigilant and neighborly care. We were fortunate that no one was at the home at the time," said Ms. Shakur-Davis.

The fire started yesterday evening and gutted the house. However, the cause of the fire is still unknown and no one was injured.

Ms. Afeni Shakur-Davis is the founder of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation and Amaru Entertainment.
