(Reporter7.com 2007-06-12) The Greater Woodstock Baseball Association announced that CABA officials have approved Woodstock to host 9, 11 and 15 year old CABA games.
June 11, 2007--The Crystal Lake CABA World Series announced that Woodstock will be a host site for the 2007 CABA World Series 9, 11 and 15 year old games. Building off 2006, the Greater Woodstock Baseball Association is pleased
in CABA's decision to allow Woodstock to host more games this year.

"We are delighted that CABA has awarded the GWBA an expanded venue. These additional games will showcase our park facilities and the Historical Woodstock Square" stated Steve Otten, one of the Founders of the GWBA. "The Crystal Lake CABA World Series was voted the number one CABA World Series in the United States and is supported by Host cities that must follow all CABA guidelines to ensure the highest quality for the players, coaches and fans" stated EnRico Heirman, Executive Director of the Crystal Lake CABA World Series.

The CABA World Series attracts teams from Japan, Hawaii, Europe, California, Florida, New York, Washington and many other states. Teams face off and advance through predetermined brackets leading to the Championship. When players are free, visiting the local area sites, Cubs games and other amusement attractions are at the top of the list.
