(Reporter7.com 2007-06-06) From October 17th to 20th, 2007 the 3rd World Congress on Regenerative Medicine will take place in the Congress Center Leipzig. The Fraunhofer-Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology organises this event and invites all interested scientists and entrepreneurs to make a contribution to the themes of stem cell research, immunology and imaging. Numerous international famous researchers and industrialists have already confirmed their participation and have submitted their abstracts, amongst them Dr. Tom Gingeras from the US company Affymetrix.
The deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended because of the high demand till July 15th. Until then the possibility exists to participate at the congress with a lecture or a poster.

A satellite meeting which occurs in advance and parallel to the 3rd WCRM, the 2nd Fraunhofer Life Science Symposium, can be seen as an excellent pre-conference appetizer. Here Regenerative medicine from the perspective of veterinary medicine is highlighted. Further information can be found
