Airing Sunday, May 13 at 6 p.m. (ET), Hamelin will talk about his upcoming May 15 concert in Raleigh, N.C. as part of the Raleigh Chamber Music Guild's 2007 season.

'Preview!- will highlight Hamelin's music CD, Brahms: The Piano Quartets, recorded with the Leopold String Trio, and discuss his DVD, It's All About The Music.

A Montréal native, Marc-André Hamelin is internationally-renowned for his musical virtuosity and refined pianism. The International Piano Quarterly says he is: 'One of the most adventurous and certainly the most courageous pianists of recent times.-

Hamelin began playing piano at age five, and by the age of nine he won top prize in the Canadian Music Competition. In recognition for his lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to Québec and Canada, Hamelin is a Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Québec and an Officer of the Order of Canada, the highest honors awarded to citizens of the providence and nation.
