Wellness Experts Question Former President Clinton
Health and Wellness Expert files request with the FBI to launch an investigation into Former President Clinton's "Alliance For A Healthier Generation"
(Reporter7.com 2007-04-05) Michael Torchia, Health Advocate files request with the FBI to launch an investigation into Former President Clinton's "Alliance For A Healthier Generation" Regarding Improper Usage Of Funds And Consorting With Manufactures Of Food Products Containing Toxic Ingredients
Los Angeles (April 5, 2007) - Michael Torchia, Health and Wellness Expert says, "President Clinton's 'Alliance for A Healthier Generation- has no strategic plan, proper structuring or qualified team of experts to accomplish the outrageous claims of achievement in such a short time frame." It's impossible to have the epidemic of childhood obesity in the United States level off by 2010 and decline by 2015 with their company as it stands.-

The Alliance, a partnership between the William J. Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association claim their mission is to eliminate childhood obesity. But since 2005 after raising millions of dollars, what have they really done with their donations? The Alliance has only been handing out promotional newsletters with unsubstantiated claims of their achievements. What seems even stranger is the majority of the donations come from PepsiCo, General Mills and Hershey, who also have contracts providing public schools across the nation with food products with toxic ingredients. Because of this, Mr. Torchia has filed a request with the FBI to launch an investigation into their usage of funds and consorting with manufacturers of food products containing toxic ingredients.

"It is indefensible that anyone, least of all a former president of the United States would consider endorsements from companies such as these,- says Robert Scott Bell, Director of Product Development for Natural Immunogenics Corp., " These endorsements make as much sense as having the Columbian Medellin Cartel sponsoring America's war on drugs. Unless, of course, you consider the use of artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, genetically modified ingredients, hydrogenated oils and refined sugars to be essential nutrients for the health of our children. Since the aforementioned food additives are embraced to varying degrees by sponsors of the Clinton Global Health Initiative, they are actively engaging in CREATING the many health complications, identified under the medical term Syndrome-X (obesity, diabetes, etc) that the president claims to be fighting against."

Products like those made from the big three sponsors cannot be consumed in moderation unless you want "moderate" hypoglycemia and diabetes to result. This is according to clinical studies from major universities. There is nothing moderate about ingesting substances that result in chronic, degradation diseases. This is the delusion that somehow allows mass food processors like PepsiCo, General Mills and Hershey to convince nutritionally ignorant ex-presidents that they are promoting good health.

As for other sources of funding the Alliance's Web site, www.HealthierGeneration.org provides visitors and companies with direct links to donating funds for their organization, but, besides the "Big Three," all the corporate partnerships they presently work with are free resources that are already attempting to alleviate childhood obesity. After Mr. Torchia offered to combine forces with the Alliance, utilizing his star power and star clients, Jordan Parks, senior representative for the Alliance stated, 'We don't need any more money. We have enough to keep us going for 8 years.- Brent Berger, Operations Specialist, with expertise in business development business strategy and finance agrees, 'It would be virtually impossible for the Alliance to achieve their objectives within an 8 year period even with a well qualified team of experts and proper strategic planning. It would take, in my opinion, at least 10 years before a significant turnaround would be seen in childhood obesity.-

Michael Torchia, President and founder of Children's Fitness Academy (CFA) www.childrensfitnessacademy.com, an innovative resource that schools across the country can use to implement health and fitness education programs, had this to say about his experience with the Alliance. "They contacted me after reading one of my press releases asking me to submit a proposal. They were very interested in having my organization restructure, implement and maintain health and fitness programs for public schools across the country. They had raised millions of dollars since 2005 and were prepared to fund an organization that can provide such services. When I spoke to Jordan Parks, he told me that the Alliance had no idea how to implement a strategic plan to accomplish their projected goal. In addition, the Alliance needed to outsource as soon as possible. When I came back with everything he asked for, he balked and said they were only interested in those companies offering free resources.

Inquires are being filed with Federal and State Agencies as to the legitimacy, usage of proceeds and effectiveness of the 'Alliance For A Healthier Generation- and 'William J. Clinton Foundation."
